General Refund Eligibility
1.1 Refunds apply only to purchases made directly through ShopWardrobe’s official website, app, or authorized channels.
1.2 To qualify for a refund, items must be:
- Returned within the applicable return period.
- In unused, unworn, and resaleable condition.
- In their original packaging, with tags, labels, and accessories intact.
1.3 Products showing signs of use, alteration, or intentional damage will not qualify for a refund.
2. Return Window and Timelines
2.1 Customers must initiate a return request within 7–30 calendar days from delivery, depending on the category of product and region.
2.2 Once approved, you must ship the product back within 5 business days of receiving return instructions.
2.3 Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Bank or card providers may take additional time to reflect the refund.
3. Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable Items
Certain categories are excluded for hygiene, safety, or customization reasons, including:
- Lingerie, undergarments, swimwear, and hosiery.
- Earrings and other intimate accessories.
- Customized or personalized items.
- Items labeled as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.”
- Gift cards, promotional vouchers, or store credits.
4. Order Cancellations
4.1 Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placement provided they are not already shipped or processed.
4.2 Once shipped, cancellation is not possible, though you may request a return once delivered.
4.3 ShopWardrobe reserves the right to cancel orders due to payment issues, inventory shortages, or suspected fraudulent activity. Customers will be refunded in full for such cancellations.
5. Refund Methods
5.1 Refunds are credited back to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the same card.
- Digital Wallets/PayPal: Refunded to the same account.
- Bank Transfer/UPI: Refunded to the originating account.
5.2 Store credit may be issued instead of a cash refund if agreed by the customer. Store credit is non-transferable but does not expire.
5.3 Shipping charges, handling fees, and duties are typically non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Exchanges
6.1 Exchanges may be allowed for size, color, or style variations, subject to stock availability.
6.2 Exchange requests must meet the same eligibility requirements as refunds.
6.3 If the replacement item is not available, a refund or store credit may be provided.
7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
7.1 If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide photos showing:
- The item and the defect.
- The packaging and shipping label.
7.2 Once verified, we will arrange one of the following:
- Replacement of the item.
- Exchange with another item.
- Full refund, including shipping costs.
7.3 Claims made after 48 hours may not be accepted, except as required by law.
8. Return Shipping
8.1 Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was incorrect, damaged, or defective.
8.2 We recommend shipping with a trackable method. ShopWardrobe is not responsible for lost or delayed return packages.
8.3 If we provide a prepaid return label, the shipping cost may be deducted from your refund, unless the return was due to our error.
9. Refund Denials
Refunds may be denied in the following circumstances:
- Returned after the allowed timeframe.
- Product used, altered, or damaged.
- Tags, labels, or original packaging missing.
- Non-returnable product categories.
- Suspicious or fraudulent return activity.
10. International Orders
10.1 International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and return shipping fees.
10.2 Refunds are issued only for the product cost; duties and taxes are non-refundable.
